What I've Been Working On This Past Week

Just been working on my outfit 1, fixing the Jacket in Lining (which is hell!) and the high waisted denim shorts, which I changed the pattern of slightly and is doing the right thing now :) Just gotta add the buttons and buttonholes. Also worked on my Long t-shirt and added binding on the edges like on the vest top but I m having issues which how to finish the neckline, will ask my tutors next week! Also was buddy week, so had a little help with bits and bobs :)

The journey of the jacket

Oh this jacket may just be the death of me, it looks simple but is actually complicated in sewing and construction, just making one up take the course of like 3 days! after finish re toiling this one (as I have changed the pattern and actually since then this is the second toile) so after making this toile I ll be attempting to make the real thing! Wish me Luck !

My Picks for best Golden Globe 2011 fashion

Glee Girls did an amazing job in looking fabulous for the golden globes as

Jane Lynch gets it so right on the red carpet again wearing an Ali Rahimi gown, the colour of the dress is so pretty which matches her skin tone, making her stunning in the gown and....

...Heather Morris was one of my favourites of this group wearing a Lorena Sarbu gold beaded gown with a satin Amanda Pearl clutch and Diamond in the Rough jewels. Eventhough she covered up with the silhouette and her body she looks sexy! While...

...Dianna Agron wore a J. Mendel beige silk chiffon pleated beaded strapless gown with peplum. Looking so classy and feminine. Finally...
Lea Michele stuns in a pink Oscar de la Renta structured drape grown. Another dress which caught my eye and thought look amazing was Kyra Sedgwick looked absolutely radiant in a marigold Emilio Pucci Spring 2011 gown, which was modified to better suit her style. The dress originally featured a fully open back and cut-out sides, so I’m glad Kyra got it modified to be a bit more tasteful for this particular event.Although some might not have loved Leighton's dress I thought it was quite fresh compared to all the other colour splashing gowns and she works the long sleeves well. She pulls of this long Burberry dress with elegance and glamour. Love her!

Finally this Versace number is surely red carpet perfect! The fringing makes it contemporary, while the sharp red and silhouette keeps is classic. Plus January Jones looks extraordinary in the number and I didn't even know her name before this, so she sure made a good impression!
