Mary Katrantzou quite new designer but she sure has her signature. Her garment designs for previous collection has been quite simple while having her take on the textile design but her spring/summer 2011 ready to wear collection is so charming as she says "With this collection, I wanted to put the room on the women, rather than the women in the room" and I can clearly see what she means. I love the boldness in her collection but still having this feminine elegance as well as her use of bold colours which has been continuous in her work. There is a freshness in her designs which are contemporary but marketable.
