Sonia Rykiel has always had this quirkiness to the brand and with the spring/summer 2011 ready to wear collection was a bright, sweet and contemporary collection. I absolutely love the colours used and with almost a clash of colours but not exactly. As style.com describes 'the show opened with a trompe l'oeil dress- an hourglass bustier picked out in nude,black, coral, and cinnamon on a background of white. The palette set, those shaped reappeared throughout, as colour blocking on clingy knit tucked into culottes and as stripes on a baggy dress and jumpsuits. A couple of forties-by-way-of-seventies pantsuits and some abstract printed dresses kept things lively. Photos from Style.com
